Who We Are PROTGP is a subsidiary of Sunwave Communications based in the Bay Area, California. Sunwave has been providing world class services to the web hosting industry since 1996. We take pride in offering reliable service to meet our customers' needs. Even more important than our cutting-edge network and server hardware though, are the employees whose hard work and dedication that have brought Sunwave to the level of success it enjoys today. Our Network PROTGP is connected to a multi-gigabit Optical backbone utilizing wave division multiplexing technology to achieve industry leading speed, performance, and value. Our backbone network is heavily peered at all major Internet exchange points. High-quality access to the Internet Backbone using state of the art routing techniques around congested peering points and our upstreams extensive traffic peering relationships provide reliable connectivity and the best possible speed and throughput. That's how we ensure that data gets to its destination securely, reliably and along the fastest route possible. Our Servers Each server on our network was custom-built, configured and tested by one of our unix administrators. All of the machines in our virtual server pool have a minimum configuration of 1Ghz CPU, 1GB SDRAM. We specialize in Linux solutions which allows us to have some of the fastest, scalable, and low cost servers available. All of our virtual and dedicated servers are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Every service on every server is checked every 5 minutes automatically by software. If any service is down, an automatic attempt will be made to try to start the service up again. If the service still does not respond an alert is sent to the network administrators. In the event of a technical emergency, we always have administrators on call 24 hours a day. Why Choose Us 1. Uptime, Uptime, Uptime
2. Quick response to email
3. Helpful technical support
4. Manageability of your account
5. Scalability
